• A good day for the Markets with the indices shrugging off the initial indifference to the news  flow to close near the highs of the day, at 17357.94 (up 1.21%) for the BSE SENSEX and at 5289.7 (up 1.22%) for the NSE NIFTY.
• The broader market too did well with 1661 Stocks ADVANCING to 1164 DECLINING on the BSE.
• The BSE sectoral indices closed as follows, with REALTY outperforming by a mile:
