• TECH MAHINDRA:  BRITISH TELECOM PLC sold 56.55 lakh shares on the BSE at 777.89. The counter parties on the BUY side were BLACKROCK INDIA 2073 shares at 775. COPTHALL MAURITIUS 7 lakhs at 775; MERRILL LYNCH 2.85 lakhs at 775; NORGES BANK A/C GOVT PETRO FUND 2,52 lakhs at 775; MASTER TRUST BANK OF JAPAN AS TRUSTEE OF MERRILL LYNCH INDIA 1.28 lakhs at 775; KUWAIT INVESTMENT 89148 shares at 775; RELIANCE LIFE INS 86000 at 775; On the NSE, BRITISH TELECOM sold 1.52 crore shares at 777.66 (part) and 785.95 (part). The identifiable parties on the BUY side were BIRLA MF 7.5 lakhs at 775; HSBC GLOBAL 16.5 LAKHS at 775; ICICI PRU MF 29 lakhs, RELIANCE MF 12 lakhs, SBI MF 16 lakhs, all at 775 each.
• WELSPUN CORP: BNP PARIBAS ARBITRAGE bought 12 lakhs at 91.39. on the NSE
• MTNL: GOLDMAN SACHS bought 31 lakhs at 35.97 on the NSE; MACQUARIE BANK sold 20.21 lakhs at 38.16 also on the NSE
• IVRCL LTD : GOLDMAN SACHS sold 13.45 lakhs at 37.54 on the NSE. Readers may recall that GOLDMAN SACHS had bought 24 lakhs at 43.99 on 26/7/2012.
• ALOK INDUSTRIES; BARCLAYS CAPITAL sold 45 lakhs at 11.53 on the NSE.
• SINGER INDIA; The promoter sold 2.3 lakhs at 56.87 on the BSE
