TRADE REPORT; EOD 4/4/2012

  • The Markets took a breather today with the SENSEX closing at 17486.02 (down 0.63%) and the NIFTY closing at 5322.9 (down 0.66%)
  • The broader Markets too were split down the middle with 1446 Stocks ADVANCING to 1344 DECLINING on the BSE.
  • The Rate sensitives saw a mild correction/profit booking. The Sectoral Indices closed as follows:

  • The DELIVERY PERCENTAGES for the top traded counters on the NSE were KFA (23%), SUZLON (21%), LANCO (19%), NAGARJUNA OIL (11%), IVRCL (16%)
  • The prominent volume buzzers on the BSE were MINDTREE (volumes 198 times 2 wk avg), MAX INDIA (63 times 2 wk avg), HSIL (40 times), NESTLE (5 times), BAJAJ FINSERV (4 times).

  1. Your view on action construction. It has not gone up with the other stocks in this rally. Should one buy or wait.

    1. Yes it has underperformed, rather surprisingly. my suggestion will be to keep accumulating at sub-30 levels and hold long term.
