TRADE REPORT EOD 25/4/2012

  • The Markets were volatile through the session but closed off the lows of the day, notwithstanding the S&P downgrade. The BSE SENSEX closed at 17151.29 (down 0.33%) and the NSE NIFTY closed at 5202 (down 0.4%)
  • The broader Market , however performed badly, closing with ADVANCES-DECLINES at an abysmal 972 to 1444 on the BSE.

  • In prominent Bulk Deals on the NSE, MACQUARIE BANK bought 856204 Shares of FEDDERS LLOYD from MORGAN STANLEY MAURITIUS LTD at 56.00.
  • The prominent shares which made new all time highs on the BSE were, BATA, ELANTAS BECK, HERO MOTOCORP, KAJARIA, BERGER, GRUH FINANCE, WOCKHARDT, AJANTA PHARMA, CERA SANITARY.
  • The top traded counters on the NSE, by turnover, were INFY (DELIVERY VOLUMES 59%), SBI (DV 16%), ICICI BANK (53%), LARSEN (46%), TCS (43%)
  • The top traded counters on the NSE, by traded quantity, were LANCO (DELIVERY VOLUMES 31%), JPA (DV 24%), IVRCL (26%), SUZLON (20%), HDIL (11%).
